Say if you had a problem and it was 36.8 you would say thirty six and eight tenths after the decimal always has aTh's and the decimal u say and. Also the eighth is in the tenth place and say there was a zero in front of it, it would be hundredths and if there was two zeros it would be thousandths and so on it goes tenths hundredths thousandths ten thousandths hundred thousandths millionths ten millionths hundred millionths and billionth and then before the zero it is ones tens hundred thousands and so on!!!! hope this helps!!:)

The answer above is totally irrelevant since it deals with deciamals, not decibels. A decibel is a measure of the volume (loudness) of sound. It is based on a logarithmic scale so that the doubling of the loudness of a sound is equivalent to an increase of 10 in the decibel count for the sound.
