A=1/2 BH

the area of a triangle is half of the basexheight.

If the base of a triangle is 10, and the height is 4, you would take half of either 10 or 4 (doesn't matter), and then times them together and you have the area.

EX: A=1/2 10x4

(Take half of ten)

A=5x4

A=20

NEVER take half of both numbers. Only 1!
