First you have to add the set of numbers that you have: 3 + 5 + 6 + 2 = 16

Second, with the answer that you got from adding, (16) divide that number with the amount of numbers given. ex:

3,5,6,2 - there are 4 numbers. 16 ÷ 4 = 4

Then the answer that you got from dividing, is your mean.
