As a fraction

10/15 ;

We reduce the faction by '5', because '5' is a common factor ; 5 x 2 = 10 amd 5 x 3 = 15

Hence

10/15 = 2/3 in its simplest form .

NB When cancelling down/reducing any fraction look for the common factors in both the numerator(top) and the denominator(bottom) number.

In this case, any number that ends in '5' or '0' has a common factor of '5'. So you reduce/cancel down by '5'. Refer to your 5 times multiplication table.
