Fundamentally, based on the wording of the problem, I believe that the answer is [(503)/(100,000)]. Other answerers appear to have considered that the fundamental answer is instead [(500)/(300,000)]. Neither of these expressions reduces to 0.00375, which was the last answer I found. Perhaps this should be regarded as a lesson in why it is preferable to write numbers in digits and mathematical expressions only!
