Two fifths is written 2/5 which is two divided by 5

2 / 5 = 0.40

To find the percentage you multiply 0.40 by 100

0.40 x 100 = 40%

OR find the percentage form of one fifth

1 / 5 = 0.20

0.20 x 100 = 20%

Now if one fifth is 0.20 (or 20%) then you multiply it by 2 to find two fifths

0.20 x 2 = 0.40

AND 0.40 x 100 = 40%

Makes sense to me cause I wrote it but I'm not sure if it will make sense to anyone else ??
