It all depends on the brand of Peas your using. But on average it would take 4- 5 weeks to sprout. The best soil for planting the seeds is 'Top Soil'. You could get it at almost ANY HomeDepot. Its only $1.17. It has a lot of good reviews. I would know because I personally used it. Good Luck! Have Fun! =)
I start mine inside about 4-6 weeks before the first frost... I live in Charlotte so we are about zone 7 I think They take 10-14 days to sprout then about 3-4 months to bloom (from what I heard)
