It depends on your average speed which, in turn. depends on a number of factors. Among these are:

  • your car's capability,
  • the load that you are carrying or towing,
  • legal speed limits (and whether you obey them),
  • traffic conditions,
  • weather,
  • whether or not you have children who desperately need a toilet stop (or need to be sick) before you have gone 5 miles, and every 5 miles thereafter!
