That would obviously depend on how fast of a walker you are. When I walked with my GPS yesterday, my average speed was 5 km per hour.

5 km = 1 hour

5000 m = 60 minutes

600 m = ? minutes

(600*60)/5000 = 36000/5000 = 7.2 minutes = 7 minutes and 18 seconds.

So on average if you're going 5 kph, I'd say 7-8 minutes.
