The formula for finding time based on acceleration and speed is:

(Delta)t = (Delta)v/a

Change in time = change in speed / acceleration

t = 75-15 / 20

t = 60 / 20

t = 3 seconds

2 secs

How long would it take a car to accelerate from 10 MPH to 75 MPH if its acceleration is 20 MPHs?

Acceleration = Change in speed/Time Time = Change in Speed/Acceleration = 65mph/20mph per s = 65/20 seconds = 3.25 seconds

How long would it take a car to accelerate from 20 mph to 60 mph if its acceleration is 10 mphsec?

About .0011111 hours, or about 4 seconds.This is assuming the units are miles/(hour*sec), which converts to 36000 miles/(hour^2) as the acceleration.

How long would it take a car to accelerate from 10 mph to 45 mph if it's acceleration is 20 mph?

There is no such thing as 20 mph acceleration. 20 mph is a velocity. Acceleration is expressed as velocity per unit time e.g. mph per second or mph per minute etc.

How long does it take to accelerate from 90 kilometers per hour to 120 kilometers per hour?

Depends on the rate of acceleration (km / h) / second

How long does it take to accelerate from 0 mph to 40 mph?

It would depend on the vehicle.

How long would it take a car to accelerate from 20 mph to 45 mph if its acceleration is 10 mphsec?

a = (vf - v0)/Δt 10 mph/s = (45 mph - 20 mph)/Δt Δt = 2.5 s

What does hesitation during acceleration mean on a 99 rodeo?

Hesitation during acceleration on a 1999 Rodeo means that when the gas pedal is pushed down, the car does not immediately accelerate. It may take a second or two for the car to accelerate in this situation.

Calculate the force it would take to accelerate a 50 kg bike at a rate of 3 ms2?

First the acceleration should be 3ms^-2....not 3 ms2...now the force will be 50*3=150 newton...

How long would it take you to drive 70 miles at a speed of 35 MPH?

it would take 2 hours, assuming that you start and finish at 35mph. However as you start at 0mph and have to accelerate to 35mph, it will take slightly longer

How fast can a human travel in space?

At 99.999999999999999999999999% of the speed of light, just like everything else that has mass. But also take in account acceleration, safely the fastest speed to accelerate is a constant 2g acceleration without killing your astronaunts.

How long does it take to drive 1km?

It depends on the speed/acceleration.
