here is how you get to the answer, grab your cell phone & do the math

  1. 19.5 times 19.5 tell you how many sq inches in each tile do that first it will be a bit under 400 sq inches
  2. one square foot is 12 inches by 12 inches so it is 12X12= XXX sq inches per sq ft... the right answer will be a bit under 145 sq inches
  3. divide your sq inches per tile by how many square inches in one sq foot and that will tell you how many sq feet in each tile.. the answer will be about 2.7 sq feet per tile
  4. now multiply the width X the length of the room 12'X12' you will get a little under 146
  5. divide the total sq feet in the room by the total sq feet per tile and that is your answer.. should be more than>>30
