Assuming that you mean 20" x 20" (inch) tiles.

600 (square feet) x 144 (square inches in a foot) = 86400 square inches

1 tile = 400 square inches. (20 x 20)

86400 / 400 = 216 tiles.

This of course, assumes a square surface, which houses rarely are. ;)
