it's all about figuring AREA

LxW= area just make sure you are using the same unit feet to feet, yards to yards, miles to miles//

3X2= put the calculator down you can do that one in your head! Looks like 9 upside down!

so next we have to unmix our units..

A sq foot is 12"X12" and that works out to 144 sq inches per sq ft

18 sq feet is really 18 X 144 sq Inches or ==2592 sq inches..

what comes next??

Wasnt each tile is 6 sq inches...yessss

so divide 2592/6 to get the number of tiles it takes to cove 18 feet

looks a lot like 234 in a mirror
