Above answer is wrong. 1 lb is about 453.6 grams. So divide 453.6 grams by the mass of one Canadian dime and you get about 259 dimes. However 1.75 grams per dime is for dimes dated 2000-2020. 1969-1999 dimes weight about 2.07 grams each.
