An acute angle is less than 90 degrees. Dividing a square into four equal triangles would not have any acute angles since they would all be 90 degrees. A 90 degree angle is called a right angle.

Do triangles have at least one right angle?

Triangles can be classified by their sides or their angles. When classifying them by their angles, triangles are called: acute triangles - all three angles are acute (less than 90º) right triangles - one right angle (90º) and two acute angles obtuse triangles - one obtuse angle (larger than 90º) and two acute angles

Do all triangles have two acute angles?

INCORRECT: No because there is a obtuse triangle and a right triangleCORRECT ANSWERYes all triangles have at least two acute angles. Obtuse triangles and right triangles also have at least two acute angles. They are called obtuse triangles and right triangles because by definition they are triangles with ONE obtuse angle and ONE right angle. So therefore they both have 2 acute angles. Also for an acute triangle, it would have 3 acute angles.

What is the relationship between isosceles and acute triangles?

They are both triangles. And both have acute angles

What is the least number of angles an acute triangle can have?

All acute triangles have 3 interior angles and 3 exterior angles. This is true for all triangles.

How many acute angles does a square based pyramid have?

There are 12 acute angles in total. Calculation: Each side you can see a triangle(3 acute angles), totally 4 triangles... so 4*3 = 12 you can leave out the base as it is a square...

Which shapes have only acute angles?

some triangles and rhombuses. trapoziods do not have acute angles it has obtuse angles. :)

How are acute and right triangles the same?

Acute triangles have angles less than 90 degrees. Right triangles have 90 degree angles.

Are all acute triangles equilateral triangles?

No, but all equilateral triangles are acute. Acute: All angles of the triangle are less than 90 degrees. Equilateral: All angles of the triangle are 60 degrees.

Do all acute triangles have only one acute angle?
