It usually ends up being 450-500 sq ft. coverage with just one pallet

Usually there are 40 cases to a pallet. Within the case are 10 reams of 500 sheets of paper so total for the pallet would be 200,000 pieces of paper.
Domestic beer cases (bud, miller lite, etc) are 98 to a pallet stacked 7 cases per layer.
