i think you got it the wrong way round. how many mm in a cm? there is 10 mm in one cm and 100 cm in 1 m

1mm = 0.1cm

10mm = 1cm

100cm = 1m

1000m = 1km

essentially, you are just adding one zero to the conversion every time. try to convert mm to cm, but if the question iscm to mm, just remember that 1cm is equal to 10mm.
