∙ 10y agoArea of each board = 8*0.145 = 1.16 metres2.
Area to be covered = 7*7 = 49 metres2.
Number of boards required = Roundup(49/1.16) = Roundup(42.2) = 43.
This assumes that all offcuts are used. That may not be possible if any of the offcuts are shorter than the distance between the supporting joists.

As a linear meter is a length with zero width, even with an infinite number of them they will not cover an area of 30 square meters.

The Louvre is approximately 60,600 square meters.
To calculate the total decking lineal meters needed, you first need to determine the perimeter of the deck. The perimeter is calculated by adding all four sides of the deck together: (5.4 + 5.4 + 4 + 4) = 18.8 meters. Therefore, you will need 18.8 lineal meters of decking for your 5.4m by 4m deck.

Cedar is a popular type of tree, commonly used in flooring, and sometimes furniture. Cedar decking is used to cover ground that is exposed to the weather, as it offers a great look, and is resistant to weathering.

If a single roll of wallpaper will cover three square meters it will take 3.1 rolls to cover a wall that is 2 meters x 5 meters. You will need 10 square meters of paper to cover this size wall.

You can't convert meters to square meters.
Depending on your covering needs there are basically two options. 1) Safety Cover needed? The only way to cover a pool this way is to have a custom Safety Cover made. It requires A/B measurements and is anchored with brass anchors in decking or lawn tubes in other types of decking. 2) Winter cover to keep leaves and debris out of pool? You'll need to find a rectangle cover that is large enough to cover the pool. Use water tubes to fully encircle the perimeter of the pool to ensure that wind doesn't get under the cover. Roll or fold up the excess cover and weigh it down with the water tubes.
The boards are 2"x6"x 16 ft. Since each board is 0.5 ft wide and 16 ft long, it will cover 8 sq ft. 400/8 = 50, so you will need 50 boards.
