A degree Celsius, although it has the same name, is equal to 1.8 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale.
You can see that for the freezing and boiling points of water, there are 100 Celsius degrees (100-0) between the two temperatures, while there are 180 (212-32) of the smaller fahrenheit degrees.

∙ 11y agoTo convert from degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit, multiply the number by 9, divide by 5, and add 32. In this instance:30 x 9 = 270 / 5 = 54 + 32 = 86Therefore, 30 degrees Celsius is equal to 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
220 degrees Celsius is 428 degrees Fahrenheit! So if you know temperatures in Fahrenheit, then you should know how hot that is. Just to make your life easier: If you would like to convert: Celsius to Fahrenheit, convert by: 1. Multiplying by 9 2. Dividing by 5 3. Adding 32 Fahrenheit to Celsius, convert by: 1. Subtracting 32 2. Multiplying by 5 3. Dividing by 9
The numerical value in Celsius can be converted by multiplying it with 1.8 and than adding 32 to Fahrenheit and -40is the temperatre at which temperature in degree centrigrade becomes numerically equal to degree Fahrenheit.
The formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is:(Celsius x 1.8) + 32 = Fahrenheit
7 C = 44.6 F Conversion formula: [°F] = [°C] * 9 ⁄ 5 + 32 = 7 * 9 / 5 + 32 = 44.6 °F44.67ºC = 44.6ºF7 degrees Celsius = 44.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The ratio of 9/5 is equal to 1.8 and 1.8 is equivalent to 2 - 0.2 * Convert Celsius temperatures to Fahrenheit with mental math. * Double the Celsius temperature (multiply by 2). * Take 1/10 of this number (2 * 1/10 = 0.2) and subtract it from the number above. * Add 32o to adjust for the offset in the Fahrenheit scale. ** Example: convert 37o C to Fahrenheit.37 * 2 = 7474 * 1/10 = 7.474 - 7.4 = 66.666.6 + 32 = 98.6o FCelsius to Fahrenheit Formula: °F = (°C × 1.8) + 32 so, 7C = 44.6F To make such a conversion use one of the converters available online, e.g. http://www.unitarium.com/temperature?val=7
At 35 degrees Fahrenheit, water is in a frozen state. To boil water, you need to increase the temperature to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius) at sea level. This increase in temperature is necessary to overcome the intermolecular forces holding water molecules together in the liquid state.
You can use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32In this case, the answer is about 66.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] - 32) × 0.556

To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature and then multiply by 5/9. So, for 70 degrees Fahrenheit: (70-32) x 5/9 ≈ 21 degrees Celsius.
The numerical value in Celsius can be converted by multiplying it with 1.8 and than adding 32 to Fahrenheit and -40is the temperatre at which temperature in degree centrigrade becomes numerically equal to degree Fahrenheit.
Are you cold or hot? 26 degrees Fahrenheit is below freezing. 26 degrees Celsius is a warm day.
Ice wont melt at temperatures colder than freezing. Any degree above that will make the ice melt exponentially faster. For example: At 35 degrees, ice will remain ice for a long time. At 212 degrees it will disappear rapidly. At 1000 degrees, it will disappear in a puff of water vapor.
I did a science project on producing concrete with molten (heated) sulfur to see if it was possible to make concrete without water. (It was.) I boiled my sulfur at 302 degrees fahrenheit, which is 150 degrees celsius. I am not sure if this is the exact boiling point, but the sulfur does boil at this temperature.
32 degrees Fahrenheit. to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, double it and add 32, it works roughly.
