They are measured in sq feet & if you think on that, its the right way to sell them, because figuring how many rows would be a lot more time consuming & variable that calculating the sq ft of a roof. At the lumber yard or the Depot they sell it by the bundle, 4 Bundles to a square & a square does 144 sq feet, so looks like 36 sq feet to the bundle. ( square as in enough to cover a 12X12 square area)
