There's no definite answer. An acre is a unit of area. It can be any shape, just as long as
the area is 43,560 square feet.

Even if it's definitely a rectangle, there are an infinite number of different rectangles that all have the same area.
(For example, a [12 x 2] rectangle, a [8 x 3] rectangle, and a [6 x 4] rectangle, all have the same area.)

If you want a square that encloses one acre of area, then each side of the square has to be about 208 feet.

If you want a circle that encloses one acre, then the diameter of the circle has to be about 235 feet.
