2.5 gallons is a very small tank. If the tank is not heated, you could have a single paradise fish OR three white cloud mountain minnows. If it is heated, you could have a single betta (male or female) - it is NOT big enough for a group of females and you CANNOT keep multiple males or males with females, EVER. Or you could consider a small group of very small fish like ember tetras or threadfin rainbowfish - no more than four fish. If the tank is not filtered you will need to do 50% water changes every second day. If it is, 50% water changes twice a week to maintain good water quality in such a small tank. If you plan on filtering the tank, make sure you cycle the filter first. This is VERY important - if you don't know what the nitrogen cycle is, have a look at the pinned topics in the New To The Hobby board of this forum: www.fishforums.net

This is a ratio: whatever : treat 1 gallon : 1000 gallon ? gallon : 25 gallon First find out how much treats 1 gallon (divide both sides by 1000): 1 ÷ 1000 gallon : 1000 ÷ 1000 gallon → 0.001 gallon : 1 gallon Now find out how much treats 25 gallons (multiply both sides by 25) 25 × 0.001 gallon : 25 × 1 gallon → 0.025 gallon : 25 gallon → you need 0.025 gallons.
Arriiving with an empty tank, usage would be 550/25 ie 22 gals. 22 x 3.75 = 82.5

Guppies are usually 1 inch long, and a good rule of thumb is to have 1 inch of fish per gallon, so as many as 30 guppies will be just fine. Although, it might be nice to add some different fish occasionally.

My silverado has a 25 gallon tank, so if you divided it by 4, I would say 6 and 1/4 gallon in a quarter of a tank.
The number of fish that can be put in a fish tank depends on the size of the tank, the species of fish, and their compatibility. As a general guideline, a good rule of thumb is to allow one inch of fish per gallon of water. It's important to consider factors like fish size, territorial behavior, and waste production to ensure a healthy and balanced aquarium environment.
