It depends on what you mean By How Many.
If you mean how many difrent parts make up the fuel lines I need to know Year, Transmission and Engine type.
If you mean fuel line assemblies there are two. Presure line from tank to fuel injection and Low pressure return line to tank.
There are several other lines that look like fuel lines that are for the fuel tank vapours.
No. The fuel system is controlled with relays.
You can't. 95-96 were the only Neon's that came with fuel filters, after 97 Dodge stopped equiping external fuel filters
Try chemical in fuel tank available at auto parts
if you are leaking gas, one of your fuel lines is leaking. Locate where it is leaking from. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR IN THIS CONDITION. if it overflowed at the pump out of the fuel door, it may been a faulty pump.
97 neon 2.0 sohc died and won't start but cranks over good?? Ran great just died and won't start back up. No dash lights are on either?help
Yes you can. Just run a piece of rubber fuel injection hose from the fuel pressure regulator outlet to the main fuel line that runs to the fuel rail and clamp it... Or you can use a fuel line from a late '98 or '99 Neon from the junkyard that way you will have quick disconnects.
4.5 quarts 5w30
The fuel neck? its about 150 dollars brand new. or it could be the rubber hose that connects it to the fuel tank. which would be only a few dollars.
Should be either in front of fuel tank or along frame rail driver's side --follow fuel lines
try removing the filler neck or find the access to the fuel pum remove it and do it thru there.
The fuel filter is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the rear. Remove the filter from the holder, and pull it up high enough to remove the fuel lines. Reconnect the fuel lines to the new filter.
