Well, if you want to find how much water fits into it (volume) (if its a rectangular pool) multiply the height of the pool (or if iot's in ground, depth) by the height by the width.

If it's a cylinder, well, there's an iPod ap[p for that.

Assuming 54d is 54 inches deep = 4.5 feet deep

Pool volume = Pi/4 x Diameter2 x depth = Pi/4 x 242 x 4.5 = 2035.752 cubic feet.

2035.752 cubic feet x 1728 = 3,517,780 cubic inches

3,517,780 cubic inches divided by 231 = 15,228.48 US gallons

3,517,780 cubic inches divided by 277.42 = 12,680.34 Imperial gallons
