∙ 18y agoIt depends upon the type of car the person is driving. I drive a 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid, so I can go quite a distance on a reserve of 2 gallons, (approx. 75 miles).

300 miles
Miles driven divided by fuel used. Miles/gallon
Six more hours.
I can't furnish a number for every year but for 2001 and 2009 there is a data set avaiable from the National Household Travel Survey. It contains information such as miles driven and miles per gallon and such.

The odometer.
I have a 1998 Sport and have several times gotten the low fuel light. Never actually have run out of gas and I have driven up to about 15 miles with the light on.
probably no gas, if there is gas then your gauge in the tank is broken or frozen
On your dash right in front of the speedometer glass there is a button you push back and forth will switch to actual miles driven or miles driven today, can set back to zero once you push this, cannot change actual mileage.
low fuel, usally about 30 miles before empty.
You have driven 55.9234 miles.

35 miles
because there are faster.
There is no answer to this question as all makes of cars have different gas tank and gage designs, one will be bone dry while another car will still have a gallon left in the tank even though both gages read empty.
When the fuel gauge begins to read empty, you probably have one to two gallons of fuel remaining which should get you 15 to 30 miles.
