This is not really an accurate question. It's asking what is the speed (mph) of a distance (km). What the questioner may actually mean is what is the equivalent mph of 260kph. Well, unless I want to be very very accurate I always divide or multiply, depending on which way I want to convert, by 6 and adjust the decimal point accordingly. So, 100km = 60 miles. Or 200 miles = 330 km.

If I've made a correct assumption of what the question really means, then the answer is 260 x 6 = 156 mph
