1/12 feet go in an inch (and 12 inches go in a foot)
They are both the same.
1 in ÷ 0.4 = 2.5 inches/units_of_the_0.4
1 yard = 3 ft 1 ft = 12 inch Go figure !
You are 1 inch short of it going once...
60 inches
1/12 feet go in an inch (and 12 inches go in a foot)
They are both the same.
Not very many, a cubic yard is 36 inches x 36 inches x 36 inches.
1 in ÷ 0.4 = 2.5 inches/units_of_the_0.4
There are 12 inches in a foot, so 1/12 of a foot is in an inch, or 8.3%, or 0.083333333...((the threes go on and on and on))
20 feet, 1 inch
1 yard = 3 ft 1 ft = 12 inch Go figure !
You are 1 inch short of it going once...
120 centimeters is equal to 47.244 inches 1 inch =2.54 centimeters so 120 centimeters Divided by: 2.54 (which is how many cm it takes to = 1 inch) therefore how many little blocks (inches) of 2.54 will go into 120 centimeters is your answer. ---- 47.244 inches you can go to www.eldar.org/~ben/convert/mc_fi.html to find out more about how to convert inches to centimeter and the like hope this is the right information. No it was not correct, I fixed it though. You had 304.80 inches because you multiplied instead of divided. See it takes 2.54 cm to equal up to just one inch therefore if you had 120 cm then you know that the inch measurement would be smaller, not larger.
There are 36 inches in one yard. Therefore, one quarter of an inch is equal to 1/144, or 0.00694 recurring (that is, 0.00694444..) yards.
5 feet = 60 inches, therefore 60/3.5 = 17 times - with half an inch left over !
