"Kilowatt hour" is a unit of energy. "Hour" is a unit of time. There's no sensible way
to compare them to each other.
If units of energy could be compared or converted to units of time, then you could
drop a few pounds by reducing the number of minutes in your diet, and you could
make some extra money by working a few more calories each week.
1/20 of an hour
1 hour = 60 minutes
1/12 of an hour
Half of an hour = 1/2 hour...(1) Hours in a day = 24 hours and 1 hour = 1/24 day...(2) From the above two results, we get Half of an hour = (1/2)/24 day = 1/48 day
There are: 1 hour = 3600 seconds

1/10 killowatt per hour (.1kwh). Multiply your utility provider rate by .10 to obtain your answer.Example - $0.12 per kwh multiplied by .10 = 1.2 cents per hour.CommentThere is no such thing as a 'kilowatt per hour'; the correct unit is the 'kilowatt hour'. A 100-W lamp is equivalent to 0.1 kW so, if it operates for one hour, then it consumes 0.1 kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy. At, say, 12 cents per kilowatt hour, this equates to 1.2 cents.
