Two tenths of a cup is equivalent to 1/5 of a cup. In fluid ounces, this is approximately 1.6 ounces. You can also express it in tablespoons, which is about 3.2 tablespoons.
2.5 is 2 and 5 tenths (or 25 tenths in total)
5 tenths is the same an one-half (1/2). :)
Four tenths of a cup is equivalent to 0.4 cups. This can also be expressed as 40% of a cup, which is equal to 6.4 tablespoons or about 1.92 fluid ounces.
There are 40 tenths in a quart. Since one quart is equal to 4 cups and each cup contains 10 tenths (or 10 ounces), multiplying 4 cups by 10 tenths per cup gives you 40 tenths in total.
.2 = 2/10 = 2 tenths
1/5 of a cup. duhhhh

one fourth of a cup is 2 ounces
The best way would be to weigh it and then weigh out tenths. Otherwise you could note that 1 cup is 240 ml and one tenth of that is 24 ml. Since salt is not a liquid I think the weight idea works MUCH better.
0.12 cup
.2 = 2/10 = 2 tenths
That is 1/2 a cup
2 tenths or 0.2 = 20%
2 tenths of 60 is 12
