It depends on if someone started school on time, was left back or skipped any grades. It usually corresponds to Junior year. But there can be 16 year old Sophomores (if they have birthdays before the end of the school year) and 16 year old Seniors at the start of the school year if they have Fall birthdays.
Usually 15-16 years old (start at age 15 and turn 16 sometime during the year or the summer after), but you could be as young as 14 (if you started school early, skipped a grade, or if your state has a later cutoff date that allowed you to start kindergarten at age 4 instead of 5) or as old as 17 (if you were held back a year).
A 6 year old is in 1st grade.
You could be anywhere from 2nd to 5th grade, but normally you'd be in 3rd or 4th grade. You're supposed to be 8-9 years old in 3rd grade and 9-10 years old in 4th grade. But it would be possible to still be in 2nd grade if you were held back a year, or to be in 5th grade if you started school early, skipped a grade, or if your state has a later cut-off date for starting kindergarten (meaning the date that you must be 5 years old by to start...so the places that allow 4 year olds to begin kindergarten would have them still only 9 by the time they enter 5th grade).
Children are accepted at the age of 5 years old. You can start as early as PreK4, but definitely start by first grade to ensure proper preparation for first communion in second grade.
If you are a 9th grade student you are often 14 or 15 depending on whether the student has been held back and when the student started school.
I learned when I was in the first grade (6 years old).
Usually, children are 5-6 when they start kindergarten and 6-7 wen they start first grade.
It depends on who u r and how old u r and wen. Typically, a student in the eighth grade is 13 years old.

cuz the princapal thinks that our old friends will be together and it will be loud.
You start at age 6 and turn 7 sometime during the school year or the summer after it, depending on when your birthday is.
depending on the state... i think its 8th grade.. but stay in school...
In Portugal school start when you are 6 years old and you end school when you are 18 years old. But if you fail grade you have to repeat it until you pass example: their is kids that are 16 years old and is still in 6th grade. When you turn 18 years old you can leave school even if you are still in example 6th grade. In Portugal their is no summer school and if you fail a grade you don't get any help you do all over again like its the first time.
Lets see here.... 7th grade = 12 (normally) 8th grade = 13 9th grade = 14 and, because Japan uses a middle school system, a first year High School student would be 15 or 16 in Japan. Middle and High School are each 3 years I believe, although, some use the 4 year system.
grade 6. When you are eleven or twelve years old.
