Im assuming youmean your 12th birthday. If that is true then heres what to do.Find a local airport and research the flight schools at it.Shop around for rates but most important is always how safe they are.Ask if they have a discovery or intro flight. This is a first time flight that is cheaper and lets you see if you want to continue.

Also talk to other people on aviation. Most are happy to help and will give a lot of advice.

Just Remeber that this is a simplified way to do it.Make sure you take the time to find an instructor and flight school that is right for you and very safe.

Just so you know, you can start taking lessons now but cannot solo until you are 16 and cannot get your license until you are 17.Yes the lessons you take now will count toward your rating.

Good Luck and have fun.
