You need each individual curtain to be at least 54 inches wide and 46 inches long. (I assume you require two curtains, one for each side of the window). However a curtain up to 75 inches wide will still work.

The frame is at each side of the picture so the area is (25 + 2x) times (32 + 2x), (which multiplies out to 4x^2 + 114x + 800 square inches). ie if the frame is an inch and a half wide then the area is 28 x 35 sq ins, ie 980 sq ins.
Yes. Twin XL bedding measures approximately 38 inches wide by 80 inches long. A king bed frame is designed to support bedding that measures 76 inches wide by 80 inches long.

Trim around a window just as a door is meant to cover the gap between the window frame and the wall material. Usually trim is 2 to 3 inches wide so it should cover the bad drywall job fine. Cut the trim at 45 degree angles at the top and terminate it at the sill. The small or thin side of the trim will overlap the window frame but not extend into the window area ( flush ), the thicker side will cover the space and should nail into the same wall studs as the window frame.
