Procedure
First list all the factors of 64
Then look for the paired factors that equal 64 which are 4 times 16 and 32 times 2 and 8 times 8
Then you multiply each factor by 2 because perimeter = 2(L)+2(W) and then add them to see if they equal 40 for example, lets use 16 and 4 we would multiply 4 times 2 which is 8 and 16 times 2 which is 32
Next I would add them together to see if they equal 40 and they did
These are the steps used to figure out this math problem
i hope this was less complicated to understand
12 meters
Area = Legth x Width In a square, Length = Width Therefore Area = Length x Length (or Width x Width) Area = Length squared Length = Square Root of 800 Perimeter = 4 x length Perimeter = 4 x Square Root of 800 Perimeter = 113.14
Width: 16 meters Length: 21 meters Check: 16+21+16+21 = 74 meters which is its perimeter
Measure it with a meter stick. Multiply the length times the width to find the area. Two times the length plus two times the width is the perimeter.
perimeter = 14+14+9+9 = 46 meters area = 14*9 = 126 square meters
length----8cm breadth---4cm
36, area is equal to length X width, perimeter is equal to 2(length)+2(width) in a square length is equal to width, so we take the square root of the area to find that both are 9, which means the perimeter is 9 X 4, 36.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 x (length + width) = 2 x (1.6 + 0.8) = 2 x 2.4 = 4.8 meters
Width: 16 meters Length: 21 meters Check: 16+21+16+21 = 74 meters which is its perimeter

The perimeter is 42 metres.
134 meters
The answer may vary. If you take a square away from the field it will still have the same perimeter. So the Length and Width may vary on how you make the field.
perimeter is the measure around the figure; area is the measure within the figure formula: perimeter: length+length+width+width=perimeter (for square or rectangle) area: length times width= area ( for square or rectangle)
