One hectare = 10,000 m2
So if one side is 40 meters, then the other side (presuming it's a rectangle) is 10,000/40

A hectare is a unit of area. A metre is a unit of length. The two units are therefore incompatible.
800 square meters is 8,611.1 square feet.
its a cube of side 215.44 metres (cube root of 10 000 000)
1 hectare is 10,000 sq m. Rynek Wielki square in Zamość, Poland and Place Émilie-Gamelin in Montreal, Canada are both 1 ha in area.
3 hectares = 30,000 square meters. (A hectare is a square of side 100 meters, ie 10,000 square meters)
The area of 1 hectare is 10000 square meters.
An hectare is equal to 10,000 square meters or approximately 2.47 acres. It is a commonly used unit of land measurement in agriculture and real estate.

1 hectare = 10,000 square meters 12 hectares = (12 x 10,000) = 120,000 square meters This could be a circle about 390 meters in diameter, or a square field about 346 meters on a side. 1 square mile = about 259 hectares.
The diameter of a circle is the space between the two sides of the circle. If something is 50 meters in diameter, then it is a circle that is 50 meters between one side and the other side in a straight line.

Ummmm.....the obvious answer would seem to be that the size is 36 meters squared. But I guess what you are asking is the for the dimensions on a side. A 36 square meter area could be a square 6 meters on a side, a rectangle 12 by 3 meters on a side, or a rectangle 1 by 36 meters.
Imagine a rectangle 1 meter width and 17 meters long or a square with side 4.123 meters long.
