you can cut a triangle directly
cut in half then cut both halves in half again
Cut it in half through its centre. Then cut each half into half. You will have four fourths.
If you have half of something and you cut it in half again, you get the fraction of 1/4.
56 cut in half
If the spring is cut in half, its stiffness will increase and it will stretch less for the same load. The new stretch will depend on the new stiffness of the spring. Without knowing the exact stiffness of the original spring and the new one, it is difficult to determine the exact stretch without calculations.
If the length of a spring is halved, the stiffness remains the same. Stiffness of a spring is determined by its material and construction, not by its length. Cutting the length in half does not change the material properties that govern stiffness.
If the spring is cut in half, it will have half the original stiffness. So, when 12 N is suspended from the cut spring, it will stretch twice as much as before - 20 cm.
you can cut a triangle directly
nothing
I would cut the TIME of each one in half. it has the same effect.
i think that it is quite difficult to cut mild steel because of its stiffness/strength
you take the leaf spring and cut it on half and then weld it back on and our problem is fixed
it can effect the quality of the speakers :) :)
