well you can find out by divideing each fraction out into a decimal. so 7/8 = .875 and 2/3 = .6667 (its actually .6 repeating) and because 8 is biger than 6 7/8 is bigger.
You know you can google 3÷2/3 and find an answer. If you can't find the divide key, copy and past mine.

If you know 5 divided by 8 = .625 then you know that the decimal of 4 5/8 is 4.625.
the answer to how many thirds are in one is well i don't know but I'm pretty sure its 4.
