If this is a multiple-choice question, we would need to know the possible answers in order to answer it!

I'm assuming that I'm pulling a cart up a slope, and the spring scale is between my hand and the cart, so that it is measuring the component of the weight that is acting in a vertical (downwards) direction.

It will be more than zero, but less than the weight of the cart (240 N), depending on the angle of inclination of the slope. I hope that's enough.

What are the causes of errors in weighing?

Errors in weighing can be caused by factors such as improper calibration of the scale, environmental conditions (such as air currents or temperature changes), static electricity affecting the measurement, and human error in reading or recording the weight. It's important to follow proper weighing procedures and maintain equipment to minimize errors.
