Since your equation has two variables in it ( 'x' and 'c' ), a "solution" is a number for each of them
that makes the equation true.

Sure, if you want 'x' to be 3, I can figure out what 'c' has to be.
And if you want 'c' to be 3, then I can figure out what 'x' has to be.

But the "solution" is a pair of numbers that tells you what they BOTH have to be.

And in order to figure that out for two variables, you need two equations.
