You did great. 800-849 meets the standard and 850 or higher exceeds standard... I've one gotten 849...
No it is not a good score. That score would probably make the 20th or 25th percentile
The answer depends in 196 out of WHAT!
I'd say yeah. I got a 1492 in 7th grade, which was supposed to be pretty good. Congrats on the score
Your question is impossible to answer because you left out how many points were possible. Without that I can't tell you if it was good or not. Your ethnicity has nothing to do with your grade. Your grade is based on your answers.
It depends what classes you take in math.
yes
yes.. i believe it is above average...
Most schools use MAP Reading, Math and Language tests: results according to 2008 norms 202 Reading-Beginning of Grade 4 202 Math-End of grade 3 202 Language-Beginning of grade 4
Students in Grade 10 must earn a developmental scale score of 1926 (scale score of 300) or above to pass the FCAT Reading and a developmental scale score of 1889 (scale score of 300) or above to pass the FCAT Mathematics. Students in Grade 3 must score in Level 2 or higher on FCAT Reading, on a scale of 1 - 5, to be promoted. Good cause exemptions are available for Grade 3 students.
Well, I'm in the 6th grade, and for my fall reading MAP test score I had gotten a 238. I had a talk with my teacher and she said that my goal for spring was to get a 241. This doesn't mean anything because the average score that a 6th grader gets on a reading MAP test is a 213. So, I wouldn't worry about your score since the average MAP score for 7th graders is probably about a 220.
no. it is the worst grade
Umm really great! I'm in eighth grade & I got a 252! lol
PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) score report is made up of three scores - critical reading, math and writing. Those score will range from a low of 20 to 80 as the highest. So the PSAT range would be 60 (3x20) being the lowest and 240 (2x80) the highest. In 2009, the average score grade 11 was 47 in reading, 48 in math, and 46 in writing. Grade 11 total 141. The average score for grade 10 was 42 in reading, 43 in math and 41 in writing. Grade 10 total 126. A minimum of 201 is needed to apply for a scholarship.
that's a very good grade when i was in 5th grade i got a 251 i had a 99% range so all in all that's awesome (this is a different person). Good it is is the 95 percentile range
The Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test is administered to thousands of students in grades 1-9 three times a year to measure achievement in reading, language usage, science, and mathematics. It is a computer adaptive test; children take the test within a computer program so that the test provides questions based on a child’s responses. After the MAP has been administered, children are given a RIT score between 95 and 300. These scores are not specific to a child’s grade level, but they are expected to increase over the course of the year as the child learns more advanced material. In the first grade, students are tested only on reading and math and they will have a different RIT score for each subject. To determine what a good MAP score is for a first grader, the child should have a RIT score at or above grade level over the three testing periods:At Grade Level Reading / Fall: 160At Grade Level Reading / Winter: 167At Grade Level Reading / Spring: 173At Grade Level Math / Fall: 164At Grade Level Math / Winter: 171At Grade Level Math / Spring: 178If a first grader has a RIT score at or higher than the above scores, then they would have what is considered a good score. If a child scores 5-10 points or lower than the above scores, their score would be considered below grade level, and in need of improvement.Ultimately, no matter what score a first grader receives on MAP, due to the multiple testing periods there are always chances for improvement.
It is a pretty good score. You will have to check with the state percentiles, but that's an average score. No worrying.
No it is not a good score. That score would probably make the 20th or 25th percentile
