'98' is a COMPOUND Number.

Compound numbers are the product of the multiplication of two( or more) smaller numbers.

2 x 49 = 98 ( So '98' is a compound number)

NB Any even number , except '2' , is a compound number.

Even numbers are those that end in 0,2,4,6,8

NNB Prime numbers always, except '2' itself, end in an odd number, except '5'.

So e.g.

1,000,002 is Compound, it ends in '2' . It is NOT prime.

1,000,000,015 is a compound number, because it ends in '5'. The odd number exception.
