a composite number just to let you know, the only even Prime number is 2
98 is a composite number. A prime number has only 2 factors which are 1 and itself. Composite numbers are everything else except 1 and 0. 1 and 0 are neither prime, nor composite.
98 is composite.

98 = 2 x 7 x 7, so it is COMPOSITE.

All even numbers except 2 are composite.
