I think you mean Algebra 1 & 2 If you did, Algebra 1 is the basic stuff. Algebra 2, you get more complex, but it's still a basic idea.
Algebra 2 is harder and more complicated than Algebra 1. It also introduces more variables and harder equations.
you don't go from algebra to calculus and linear algebra. you go from algebra to geometry to advanced algebra with trig to pre calculus to calculus 1 to calculus 2 to calculus 3 to linear algebra. so since you got an A+ in algebra, I think you are good.

There is no easier method to practice your math skills other than using the algebra 2 worksheets to help. They have good samples to use to baseline your skills.
Algebra 2 is not just a repeat of algebra, you are still studying the form of math called algebra but algebra is a wide topic and in Algebra 2 your simply getting into the more advanced aspects of that topic.

It is not hard compared to college algebra. pre-calc just incorporates topics you have learned so far uo to college algebra and introduces a few more. if you did well in algebra, you should do well in pre-calc.
