grams
paper clips do not weigh much, perhaps a gram each, so 10 weigh about 10 grams, so you would use grams, not kilograms, since 1 kg = 1000 grams
Mass is measured in grams and kilograms. A gram is very light, about as light as a paperclip. A kilogram is 2.2 lbs, so it is more useful for everyday objects. Things such as people, furniture, cars, etc. could be measured in kilograms while objects like paper, small amounts of gold, or mail could be measured in grams. 1 kilogram is equal to 1000 grams.
To measure 2.5 grams accurately, you can use a digital kitchen scale. First, ensure the scale is calibrated and set to zero with a container or weighing paper on it. Then, gradually add the substance until the scale reads 2.5 grams. If you don’t have a scale, you could use a measuring spoon, knowing that 1 teaspoon of a substance typically weighs about 5 grams, so you would need half a teaspoon to approximate 2.5 grams.

If you're unfamiliar with the units, try and converting it to something you know. Through repetition, you will be able to associate a certain quantity with certain objects and their weights. 50 grams is less than a pound, while 50 kilograms is over 100 lbs. The obvious answer would be the 50 grams.
A ruler should be used to measure it. Once you have the perimeter, it would probably be most convenient to express it in terms of either inches or centimeters.
30g Grams is a fairly low weight of measure. The average paperclip weights about 1 gram. You would need 1,000 paperclips to get to a kg. 1 kilogram is the same as 2.2 pounds. So a big kid would weigh 100 pounds or about 45 kilograms. A paper cup is pretty light, it would be hard to measure it with kilograms. I would say probably grams would be the way to go!
