This is a widely debated topic.
While it is humanly impossible with our current technology to truly figure it out, we do have theories. It is said that space is constantly expanding at the speed of light. Infinity can't expand, but this expansion may create the illusion of infinite space due to the simple fact, that you may never reach the end of it without moving faster than the speed of light.
In my humble opinion, space can't possibly be never ending. If you mean space as in a space filled with planets and star, then I believe the amount of stars and planets does end, and therefore space ends. If you mean black space in which nothing exists than maybe infinite space is possible.

There is no mathematical proof that space is infinite. All we know is that there is an expanding limit to what we can see.
There is no such term. It could be a line, a curve, a finite or infinite area in space with any number of dimensions.
infinite width, contains a plane and is three dimensional
An infinite number of lines.
That's an infinite list, much too long to fit in this space.
