The golden ratio is not a rational number. It cannot be expressed exactly as the quotient of two integers. It can be expressed as the quotient: (1+SQRT5)/2 where SQRT5 menas the square root of 5 (that is not a rational number either and so no quitient involving it is a rational number)

Is Golden ratio a rational or irrational?

It is irrational. Any number that cannot be written as a fraction is irrational. So if the Golden Ratio were rational, instead of a never-ending decimal number, you'd see a fraction. The official measurement is (1+sqrt5)/2. sqrt5 is irrational.

What are the dimensions of the golden ratio?

The golden ratio is a pure number and so has no dimensions. The golden ratio is a pure number and so has no dimensions. The golden ratio is a pure number and so has no dimensions. The golden ratio is a pure number and so has no dimensions.

Can a number that is represented by a fraction be a rational number?

Definitely. A rational number is a number that can be written as a ratio. Every fraction is a ratio. Therefore every fraction represents a rational number.

What is the comparison of a rational number and a ratio?

I have no idea what "compersion" means or what you are trying to say. A rational number is so called because it can be expressed as ratio of two integers. Each rational number is a ratio and each ratio is a rational number. However, the relationship is not one of equivalence: each rational number can be represented by infinitely many equivalent ratios.

What is any number that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers?

Any number that can be expressed as the ratio of two integers is a rational number.

Is 67 percent a rational number?

Yes. 67/100 is a ratio (fraction) Since it can be put into a ratio, it is a rational number.

Is a rational number a ratio of any two integers?

Not quite. A rational number is a ratio and each rational number is a ratio of specific pairs of integers - not ANY two integers. And, of course, 0 is not allowed on the denominator.

Does Simon cowell have the golden ratio?

The golden ratio is a number. No one has ownership of a number.

What is a number that can be expressed as a ratio?

A rational number.

Is negative 4.9 a rational or irrational?

-4.9 is a rational number. If a number is irrational, then it can not be expressed as a finite number of digits. A few examples of irrational numbers are: pi, the square root of any integer which is not square and the golden ratio (phi).

What is a ratio number?

I think you mean rational number. A rational number is any number that you can write as a fraction (or ratio) of two integers (+/- 1,2,3,... etc)

Why is any whole number rational?

-- Any number that can be written as the ratio of two whole numbers is a rational number.-- Any whole number can be written as the ratio of that number to ' 1 ', so it's rational.
