Not quite because that could also include a rectangle and so a better definition could be that a square is a regular quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides with 4 equal sides and 4 right angles

Why square is a rectangle?

The definition of a rectangle: A figure that has 4 right angles, has congruent diagonals that bisect, has 2 pairs of parallel sides, and has 2 pairs of opposite congruent angles. A square has all of the above, and thus, is a rectangle by definition.

What figure has 2 sets of parallel sides and 4 right angles and have the same length?

Square

Does a trapezoid have 4 right angles?

Not in general, but a more-specific answer depends on which definition of trapezoid (or trapezium, outside of North America) is used. Some mathematicians define a trapezoid as any four-sided figure with at least one pair of parallel sides. Using that definition, a figure with four right angles (square or rectangle) is a special type of trapezoid because it would necessarily have two sets of parallel sides.Others are more strict, using the name trapezoid only for four-sided figures with exactly one pair of parallel sides. By this definition a figure with two sets of parallel sides is not a trapezoid.

Four-sided figure with two pairs of parallel sides the same length and four right angles?

A four-sided figure with two pairs of parallel sides the same length and four right angles is called a square.

I am a two dimensional figure you have two pairs of parallel sides none of your angles are right angles and all of your sides are the same length what are you?

square

Which shape is a 4 sided figure that has 4 right angles and 2 pairs of parallel sides?

Mathematical definition of a square?

A four-sided polygon with congruent sides and angles, and two pairs of parallel sides.

What is the definition of rectangle?

a 4 sided figure where there are 2 sets of parallel sides, and all angles are 90 degrees.A rectangle is a quadrilateral with four right angles. Pairs of lengths can be equal, as in a square; or they can be different, like a sheet of paper.like a square but two sides are longer than the other two

What figure has four sides each length of 30 millimeters and the opposite sides are parallel and not all of the angles are congruent?

This figure is infact a square, because a square it the only regular quadrilateral.

How is a parallelogram different from a square?

A parallelogram is a four-sided figure with two sets of parallel sides that do not meet at right angles. In a square, the sides meet at right angles.A square has internal angles of 90 degrees.

What shape has 4 sides and 2 right angles?

A trapezoid is a four-sided figure with two parallel sides. A square and a rectangle. A square and a rectangle each have FOUR right angles.
