Yes, a statement can be true or false but without knowing what the statement is no-one can possibly say whether it is true or it is false.
false
an example of this is like taking a statement and making it negative, i think.... Such as, "All animals living in the ocean are fish." A counterexample would be a whale(mammal), proving this statement false.
algebra
It is a statement. It is a false statement, but a statement nevertheless.
The statement that the court agrees that a worker needs a living wage is true. The standard that is called a living wage is difficult to determine and is not determined by the court itself, but this is not a false statement.
true
False
Let us consider "This statement is false." This quotation could also be read as "This, which is a statement, is false," which could by extent be read as "This is a statement and it is false." Let's call this quotation P. The statement that P is a statement will be called Q. If S, then R and S equals R; therefore, if Q, then P equals not-P (since it equals Q and not-P). Since P cannot equal not-P, we know that Q is false. Since Q is false, P is not a statement. Since P says that it is a statement, which is false, P itself is false. Note that being false does not make P a statement; all things that are statements are true or false, but it is not necessarily true that all things that are true or false are statements. In summary: "this statement is false" is false because it says it's a statement but it isn't.
False. Living things require more than that.
No, only moving things do not have energy. That is false. A light has energy, but it does not move.
living things adjust to a stimulus by a reaction called a?
true, living things do use food as their source of energy to carry out their live functions. But foodcan be a various amount of thing such as sunlight, rotten flesh, algae and tons more.
This statement is incorrect. Heterotrophic organisms derive their energy from consuming organic compounds produced by autotrophic organisms or other heterotrophs. Autotrophic organisms, such as plants, algae, and some bacteria, are the ones that use sunlight to produce energy through photosynthesis.
If the statement is false, then "This statement is false", is a lie, making it "This statement is true." The statement is now true. But if the statement is true, then "This statement is false" is true, making the statement false. But if the statement is false, then "This statement is false", is a lie, making it "This statement is true." The statement is now true. But if the statement is true, then... It's one of the biggest paradoxes ever, just like saying, "I'm lying right now."
False. You can conserve energy by using less electricity and fossil fuel.
No. In gases, 'Absolute temperature' is proportionally related to the kinetic energy of the particles. Therefore, increase in temperature results in increase in the kinetic energy of the particles.
