In English a "tabor" is a small drum. It may have a different meaning in other languages.
Tabor is mount Tarbor, first mentioned in Joshua: Jos 19:22 The border also touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, ending at the Jordan. It included sixteen cities along with the towns around them. It is mentioned again several times in Judges. In Judges 4:4 is the start of a story about Deborah and MT Tarbor. There are other mentions in the Old Testament but maybe this is the story you are asking about.
Judges 4:4-6 the prophetess and judge, Deborah
Membranophones are instruments that produce sound primarily through the vibration of a membrane. Ten examples include the drum (various types like snare, bass, and tom-toms), tambourine, bongo, djembe, conga, tabor, frame drum, tabla, cajón, and kodo. Each of these instruments utilizes a stretched membrane to create sound, often resulting in diverse tonal qualities and rhythms.
It is most likely a way of saying "uncountable"In the King James version it appears in the following verses, among many others...Lev 26:8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.Deu 32:30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?Jud 1:4 And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.Jud 3:29 And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man.Jud 4:6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun? In normal life, round number such as these are very rare. It is most likely that the scribes were not actually using accurate counts, but were estimating.
