∙ 15y agoIt sounds like your doctor wants to kill you. That's nearly a pound of salt (454 grams in a pound). I'm pretty sure it would be 426 mg (milligrams). The prefix milli is equal to 10^-3 or 1/1000. So 1 mg = 1/1000 g (grams) or 1 g = 1000 mg. So 426 grams = 426,000 milligrams. But like I said, don't eat that much salt in one day!
