100 dollars made in1952 High Standard wich was owned by Sears & Roebuck .These are good gun wich are still usefull but obsolete and not very popular. They are based on an a H&R pattent wich was owned by sears
that is a sears roebuck model 101.7 double barrel shotgun...there are two different makes of that model...the other being model 101.7c..this model bears a checkered forearm and stock...model 101.7 prices usually range from new $240 down to fair $100... the model 101.7c prices range from new $265 down to fair at $100 also..hope this helps you
The Blue Book of Gun Values says that all of the JC Higgins (Sears brand) guns have no collector value, only shooter value. Also, the 583.22 is one of the ones that was recalled by Sears.

Eastern Arms was a trade name used by Sears Roebuck. I know I've found who actually made the model 1929, but can't quite locate that information right now. It would have been one of the second-tier manufacturers of good utility guns, like Stevens or Crescent. I think this would be a break-action single shot, so would be priced something less than a similar new gun and a New England Firearms model is about $90 in Walmart.
All the important parts should be identical. Most of the cost-cutting would have been on the wood and finish.
