A king size quilt can typically fit in a 4.0 cu ft washer, but it may depend on the quilt's thickness and weight. If the quilt is too bulky, it might not wash effectively or could strain the washer. It's advisable to check the manufacturer's recommendations and, if possible, use a larger washer or take it to a laundromat with bigger machines for best results. Always follow the care instructions for the quilt to avoid damage.
A standard king-size quilt typically measures about 108 inches by 102 inches. To calculate the number of 10-inch squares needed, you can divide the total area of the quilt by the area of each square. The area of the quilt is approximately 11,016 square inches, and each 10-inch square is 100 square inches. Therefore, you would need around 111 10-inch squares to cover a king-size quilt.
The perimeter of a quilt that is 3.5 x 6.5 meters is 20 meters (Are you sure you mean meters? That's a huge quilt. A typical quilt for a king size bed is only 2.5 meters long.). 20 meters plus 2/3 meter or a total of 20.6 meters of binding is required.
According to NORMAL definitions of the words, a quilt does not fit into a duvet nor does a duvet fit into a quilt. They serve similar functions and neither is a cover for the other. So there can be no question of "fitting". Please reconsider your question, check a dictionary if required, and repost the question.

Most quilters' marking pencils are made to wash out of fabric easily. But if the quilt has been washed in cold water, the yellow pencil marks may have been set into the fabric. You may need to use a presoak detergent formulated to remove stains, or spay the marks with a brand-name stain remover. If your quilt fabrics were not pre-washed, be sure to test any detergent and stain remover on a scrap of each of the fabrics used in the quilt before using it on the actual quilt to be sure it will not cause the colors to run or fade.
